Among the most important events that we celebrate together as Bhutanese is National Day- 17th December, marking the momentous occasion in the year 1907, when Gongsar Ugyen Wangchuck was unanimously crowned King of Bhutan. From that day on, Bhutan entered a new era of unprecedented peace and prosperity, guided by the incomparable leadership of our successive Kings.
On National Day, Bhutanese come together to celebrate our common identity, our proud history, the sense of family and togetherness that the people of this country share, and our hope for a bright future.
We dedicate this month’s calendar to this special day of celebration, togetherness, and being Bhutanese.
It has been our pleasure to release these free, downloadable monthly calendars, with Gregorian calendar dates, Bhutanese Lunar calendar dates, and public holidays in Bhutan, for your laptop, computer, smartphone, or notepad wallpapers. Thank you for your overwhelming response.
