As we start this New Year, it is our great privilege to share with all of you, a deeply meaningful Kupar of His Royal Highness The Gyalsey, standing behind the figure of the first King of Bhutan- His Majesty King Ugyen Wangchuck from National Day 2019.

Reflecting on His Majesty’s profound words on National Day, this symbolic photograph encapsulates perfectly the essence of His Majesty’s message – of cherishing all that we have, due to the hard work of those who came before us, and of building on to those achievements, so that we may leave behind the legacy of a bright future for the coming generations.

It has been our pleasure to release these free, downloadable monthly calendars, with Gregorian calendar dates, Bhutanese Lunar calendar dates, and public holidays in Bhutan, for your laptop, computer, smartphone, or notepad wallpapers. Thank you for your overwhelming response.

Smartphones and tablets

Download the calendar into your smartphone picture gallery. To set it as your wallpaper, go to settings, tap “wallpaper” (tap Display and then Wallpaper on Android) and choose the calendar to make it your home screen, lock screen, or both.

Desktops and laptops

Click on the size you want. The calendar will open in your web browser. To set it as your desktop wallpaper, right-click the picture, and choose “Set as Wallpaper” or “Set as Desktop Background” or “Use Image as Desktop Picture”. To find out the screen resolution of your computer, check Desktop properties.
