The November Calendar on Yellow features a picture of Gasa Tashi Thongmon Dzong.
The beauty of Gasa’s Dzong is enhanced by its location in Bhutan’s picturesque, northernmost dzongkhag of Gasa.
Tashi Thongmon Dzong is named after the protective deity of the region, and has strong connections to Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyel. First built in the 1650s, the Dzong has been renovated and expanded several times over the years, including an extensive renovation project that concluded this year.
Gasa is home to the distinctive highland communities of Laya and Lunana, and famed for the healing powers of its hot springs.
The Dzong itself is of great cultural significance, and unique in its architecture, with three watchtowers, and a holy lake nearby.

Click on the size you want. The calendar will open in your web browser. To set it as your desktop wallpaper, right-click the picture, and choose “Set as Wallpaper” or “Set as Desktop Background” or “Use Image as Desktop Picture”. To find out the screen resolution of your computer, check Desktop properties.
