Every winter, students aged between 10- 18 spend a fantastic month learning to paint, dance, and act, and brushing up on their sporting skills. Camp Raven was initiated in 2012 upon the Royal Command of His Majesty The King, to allow the children of armed force personnel spend their holidays productively. Since then, the annual winter camp, held at three locations in Thimphu, sees close to 600 participants.

Camp Raven is a wonderful opportunity for the children to learn new things, make friends, and most importantly, have fun.
Camp Raven is a result of His Majesty’s enduring concern for the wellbeing and education of Bhutanese children. A winter Camp for girls in Gyalpoizing, with close to 700 participants, and a leadership camp for scouts in Tencholing, which are currently underway, are among the several camps for children initiated upon Royal Command, where students can learn important skills and gain knowledge to help them in their future.
